Biography

ASH WREN's home studio in İzmir, where cardboard sculptures and relief works fill the walls

"One room became a studio. Discarded materials became a language. Love became the reason I stayed."

ASH WREN was born in Poland in 1975 and trained in urban planning. His habit of making art from recycled materials began at university, where leftover packaging, cardboard, and scrap became raw material for quiet experiments in form and texture.

Falling in love with a Turkish woman changed the course of his life. He settled in İzmir many years ago and turned one room of his home into a full working studio. For him, art is not a hobby but a way of life: a daily practice of attention, patience, and transformation.

Always open to growth, he now brings the benefits of technology into his work. With an artificial intelligence agent he developed, some pieces have moved into digital production; others are still built by hand using the traditional methods he has refined over decades. His work has been shown in galleries around the world, and he joined the NFT space a little later than some — curious to see what comes next.

He hopes you enjoy the work, and that some of these pieces will find a home with you on OpenSea.

With love, ASH WREN
